GREEN JOBS- Creating a system of analysis and monitoring of green jobs in Romania (POSDRU/111/4.1/S/91801)
Project, funded by the European Social Fund through POSDRU – Sectorial Operational Programme of Human Resources Development of Romania (2007 – 2013), included within the Priority Axis “Public Employment Service modernization”.
- Método Estudios Consultores role: Transnational Partner.
- Implementation Period: 1st June 2011 to 31st May 2014.
- Target group: Public Employment Service staff.
- Key intervention area: Strengthening Public Employment Service capacity to provide employment services.
- Project Objectives: Contribute to the creation of an identification and registration system of green jobs in Romania, as well as provide the tools necessary to stimulate these jobs. Therefore, this project aims essentially increasing the capacity of public employment services of anticipate the changes in the labour market in relation to green jobs, and provide new tools, that can help its management.
Activities in which Método Estudios Consultores is involved:
- Activity 6: Organize and conduct an international conference for the presentation of good practices, identified in the Member States of the EU.
- Activity 7: Organize four study visits in Spain.
- Activity 10: Organize and develop 12 regional seminars and a national seminar for the presentation and discussion of the national study results.
- Activity 16: Solutions to improve the Public Employment Service employment registration system, in order to demonstrate / identify / detect green jobs.
- Activity 17: Analysis of the national legal framework and formulation of proposals to stimulate green jobs creation in Romania.
