Green Jobs Internacional Conference, a successful fact

Seminars on green economy, 20 and 21 March 2014

On 27 and 28 March was celebrated the “International Conference for the presentation of green jobs Good Practices, identified in the Member States of the European Union” in Bucharest, Romania. This event is one of the main activities of the Green Jobs project, where Método Estudios Consultores S.L.U. participates as transnational partner.

International Conference was attended by over 100 people from the public employment services in Romania, as social partners and other stakeholders, as well as other public and private institutions responsible for contributing to the development of the “green economy”. Therefore, International Conference was configured as the best place to share good green jobs practices in Europe.

Also, the event was marked by the participation of leading international and local lecturers, who shared their knowledge and experiences on green jobs, making the Conference a meeting and international exchange space.

Among participants, highlighted Spaniards speakers, who were praised for the quality of their presentations as well as exposures made, showing that Spain is a reference in green jobs in Europe.

Método representatives move to Romania to participate in the event.

Método Estudios Consultores, S.L.U., as transnational Green Jobs Project Partner, will actively participate in the International Conference for the presentation of Green Jobs Good Practices, which have been identified in the European Union Member States.

The Conference will take place on 27 and 28 March in Bucharest (Romania) in order to bring together 100 people representing the public employment services in Romania, social partners and other stakeholders, as well as other public and private institutions responsible for contributing to “green economy” development.

Conference discussions issues will focus on green jobs, participating together with the project partners, five specialists in the field representing Spain and representatives of the countries invited to the event: Ireland, France, Denmark and Austria.

This event is creating great excitement among employment services in Romania, having wide media coverage and appearing in various media, both in press and on radio and television.

Método Estudios Consultores in the presentation and discussion of results derived from national studies about green jobs

We continue immersed in the Green Jobs Project activities: Creating a system of green jobs analysis and monitoring in Romania (POSDRU 2007-2013).

As transnational partner of this European project, Método participates in national and regional seminars for the presentation and discussion of results derived from national studies about green jobs. These seminars are being conducted in different parts of the Romanian geography and involve around 100 representatives of employment services and social partners, as well as other public and private stakeholders in green jobs at regional level.

Método is also working on the study of solutions to improve the registration system of Public Employment Service green job offers, in order to analyze the current registration system for green jobs. Then, we may propose best techniques to get an on-line employment system to identify and detect those occupations that can be considered green jobs.

Another current activity is the national legal framework analysis and the formulation of proposals to stimulate green jobs creation in Romania. Through this research, will be identified and studied green jobs in Spain by analyzing, in turn, the legislative system governing the jobs management process at national level, in order to make proposals aimed at stimulating the green jobs creation in Romania.

Activities under this project reflect the concern and interest Método has in sustainability and the environment.

Método expertise in the labor market and employment study, now in Romania

In December 2013 Método began its participation in the Romanian Project Green Jobs – Creating a system of analysis and monitoring of green jobs in Romania, in partnership with three partners of this country. Our company holds there the key role transnational organization that provides expertise and organizational capacity in the field of employment, and in particular, on the subject of sustainability and green jobs.

Funded by the European Social Fund and framed in the Sectoral Operational Programme of Human Resources Development – POSDRU 2007-2013, project has the main objective of contributing to the creation of the identification system and green jobs registration in Romania. Both, has the objective of identify those instruments necessary to stimulate the creation of these jobs, all with the aim of increasing public employment services capacity to anticipate and manage changes in the labor market in accordance with the European Commission requirements, included in the communication Europe 2020 – A strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

Método experience and know-how accumulated over recent years in all matters relating to active participation in projects and studies of the same subject, will contribute substantially to the success of this project. Consequently, it will contribute to the improvement of capabilities of the target group,  the staff of the public employment service in Romania.

Actions to be carried out will mainly focus on the transfer of knowledge through various tools, such as the organization of an international conference, where best practices based on Spanish territory will be exposed. Additionally, study visits to the Romanian public service staff will be prepared, in order to observe, in situ, companies and institutions in our country, that offer green jobs information and models. Among other activities, will also be organized seminars, where are going to be presented the results of the various studies that are going to be carried.

By participating in this project, the company strengthens its role as a transnational entity, specialized in analysis and job training.
