Project funded by the European Social Fund through POSDRU – Sectorial Operational Program of Human Resources Development of Romania (2007 – 2013), included within the Priority Axis 5: “Promoting active measures of occupation” and priority axis of intervention 5.2 : “Promotion of long-term sustainability in rural areas in relation to the development of human resources and employment”.

- Project objectives:
General objective
- Develop a framework of organization, functioning and active promotion of structures and effective operational mechanisms for rural environment human resources; with the purpose of promote the employment and professional and personal development, as main vectors of growth of the sustainability degree in rural areas Ilfov County (Romania).
Specific objectives
- - Develop partnership networks at local and regional level, in 6 selected Ilfov County (Romania) rural communities, to increase level of access to occupation resources and employ disadvantaged people.
- - Improve the level of awareness of existing situation and the development potential of rural communities, from the point of view of employment and opportunities to start businesses and economic activities, through integrated programs of practical skills development.
- - Increase the number of people who start businesses or independent activities in non-agricultural areas in rural and improve entrepreneurial culture, as a basic element to ensure sustainability of rural areas.
- Target group:
- - 600 disadvantaged people in the rural labor market (inactive people, especially women who take care of housework, people who are looking for a job, unemployed people, with special emphasis on the collective of young and those engaged in subsistence agriculture.
- - 50 managers and employees in rural communities.
- Activities involving Método Estudios Consultores:
- - Active support in the creation / activation of a local and regional partnerships network to assure sustainability in rural areas.
- - Carry out a multidimensional analysis of the development potential of selected rural communities, in relation to the needs of professional development and human resources performance in rural areas.
- - Contribution to the implementation of integrated development programs / competence stimulation, as well as providing advice and support, especially through Spain practice studio visits.
- - Advice on the implementation of a development program aimed at the entrepreneur, as a mechanism for increasing the number of active people from the economic point of view.
