Successful closure of the 2nd exchange of transnational experiences organized by Método Estudios Consultores in Madrid

Within the project Rural – TIP&A: Transformation through Practical Learning and Entrepreneurship (POSDRU 87164), where Método participates as transnational partner, the second practical work visit has been recently carried out, in order to facilitate an exchange of knowledge aimed at promoting and encouraging entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture in rural areas.

As part of this activity, we have hosted a group of international guests consisting of 6 future entrepreneurs in Romania. The group has traveled to Madrid from 16 to 18 June 2014.

On Monday, June 16, the exchange program started with a welcome reception provided by Método´s team. The work day continued with the presentation of Método Estudios Consultores sector experience at its headquarters in Madrid and finished with the first worktable, in which new business opportunities in rural areas have been listed.

The following days have focused on providing examples of good practice of entrepreneurship in rural areas, in order to inform the participants about the experiences of local entrepreneurs who have achieved success in their work activity.

The first Visit was to COCETA (Spanish Confederation of Associated Work Cooperatives), where the visiting group received relevant information about the huge potential of cooperatives in rural areas.

Closing Conference Rural TIP&A Project

This morning the Hotel Ibis in Bucarest has hosted the Closing Conference of the Rural TIP&A project. The event brought together the direct beneficiaries of this initiative, local council representatives and mass media, as well as general public interested in the project topic.

The main objective of the Conference was to disseminate the final results of the project, once it reaches its end in the present month of June. In this respect, beneficiaries have expressed a high level of satisfaction, both in relation to the set of activities implemented and the added value of the Spanish experience transferred by Método E. Consultores, which has allowed: to generate a solid basis for the creation of new enterprises, to facilitate new job opportunities and to stimulate the motivation and professional potential of the beneficiaries, all within a rural context.

Following the Agenda, the event has included the following interventions:

  • The Project Manager and the implementation team of the main Beneficiary (SC Global Commercium Development SRL).
  • A representative from Método Estudios Consultores.
  • The Executive Director and other representatives of the Regional Employment Agency of Ilfov County.

In addition, attendees have been part of the reflections / conclusions about the project development in the last 24 months, which were offered by speakers such as Căpraru Paraschiva (labour market expert), Aurel Borcescu (mediator with the communities) or by local authorities. Representatives from the beneficiaries / participants of the project activities have also had the opportunity to give their opinion during the event.
